This shoot was primarily inspired by Gregg Araki’s 90s ‘Apocalypse Trilogy’ and Nan Goldin’s 80’s photography - two artists who captured the anti-establishment youth of their respective eras lazing around their bedrooms. They immortalised a rebellious generation in their own personal safe havens, indifferent to the dangerous world outside their walls. As the whole world went up in flames, our generation has spent much of the last year doing the same thing. This GUCFS intro shoot aimed to capture this year’s models lazing around in their own personal chaos, ready to re-enter an entirely different world as an entirely different person.
