My vision for this piece of work was to portray the 24/7 constant news steams that wrap around our daily lives.
Each piece in the series is to emphasise the interconnected reality of the news and daily life.
The black and white has been used to bring focus on the ‘grey area’ so often found in the news when facts and figures become skewed by bias.
When this was shot, during lockdown, it was a time of intense confusion and vulnerability. It was a reaction to my own personal fear and the impact of over-exposure to the media, creating an echo-chamber in the mind.
